With this near-audible message that GIFT's founder received while planning an entirely different ministry, the Global Institute For Transformation (GIFT) 501(c)(3) cross-denominational ministry was birthed. Upon his prayerful reflection on what would constitute a Global Institute For Transformation value proposition, it became apparent that developing and deploying both Spiritual and Material innovations could be helpful in transforming hearts, lives and communities -- here and around the world -- and in helping us all live and love more like Jesus.
GIFT's mission includes
Transforming hearts, lives and communities by helping people more fully receive, reciprocate and re-gift the gifts of God...
Including helping people:
-- more humbly receive and more fully appreciate God's many, incredible GIFTs (James 1:17)
-- reciprocate back to God for His many gifts by allowing Him to TRANSFORM our minds and our lives (Rom 12:2), so that we'll live and love more like Christ -- and actually become the face of Jesus to the world (2 Cor. 3:18)
-- and re-GIFT God's gifts to support our brothers and sisters in Christ locally and globally, in order to transform the world with the love of Christ. (MT 10: 8)
The Global Institute For Transformation (GIFT) 501(c)(3) non-profit organization researches and advances transformative solutions to unmet material needs, domestically and globally. We believe that a single action can make a difference in one's community, and that collective action can greatly impact our world.

GIFT has launched a new strategy of solidarity and sustainability to help people who are hungry and struggling economically around the world. Our goals are simple: after researching and unearthing the issues and the most efficacious solutions, GIFT empowers our partner religious organizations through such solutions as:
This video is from GIFT's work supporting the Daughters of Wisdom in Malawi, where community members are celebrating their completion of classes in sewing and soap manufacturing. GIFT provided sewing machines and an internet-enabled video projector to enable trades training from online courseware.
GIFT has been developing and sharing innovative faith-based content to evangelize, disciple and build fervency, including:
- Document on the two faith pillars of GIFT and Transformation which the Vatican's Laudato Si Action Platform published as a Resource on 1/2023
- Scripture Artwork conveying key Bible teaching developed using NIV text, which has also received an Imprimatur. Fulfils the goals of the Synod on the New Evangelization which proclaimed, “A new evangelization means that the Church must convincingly sustain her efforts at uniting all Christians in a common witness to the world of the prophetic and ‘transforming power’ of the Gospel message.“
- Celebrate Our Creator Curriculum to address a foundational aspect of faith -- realizing that this world and everything in it didn't just happen but were provided as a GIFT from God
- "Sheep & Goat Go to the Ice Cream Parlor" children's book rendering the Parable of the Final Judgment in Matthew 25 -- what Pope Francis indicated was "the one thing" we must learn if we could only learn one thing -- which was covered on Catholic TV and endorsed by www.catholicmom.com. Significantly, Mr. Rogers, of children's TV fame, a trusted friend to many of us, and a Presbyterian Minister asked his wife on his deathbed, "Am I a Sheep?" referring to the same message this book conveys.
- Spiritual Transformation Path explaining the Parable of the Sower -- which GIFT was encouraged to develop by the USCCB Secretariat of Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs -- that addresses the need for our hearts to be humble before God, realizing everything is a GIFT from Him, in order for the Word/Seed of God to reach good soil (Note: the word for good soil is Humus, which the root word of Humility.)
- Spiritual Transformation Guide capturing what key milestones and metrics would constitute our transforming to live and love more like Christ, which has received an Imprimatur
- "GLOW" ministry: conveying the need for Godliness, Love, Obedience & Witness.

is advancing our mission.
GIFT develops innovative and effective solutions to systemic global issues. Utilizing supercomputers for smart agriculture and irrigation, we are able to implement continuous farming, providing a reliable source of food and income for the poor and hungry. In addition, GIFT helps establish safe and cost-effective water filtration systems to help address the 50% of worldwide hospitalizations that are caused by impure water.
GIFT also supports organizations involved in sustainable development with innovations and resources. GIFT is currently sponsoring ministries in Haiti, Malawi and the Philippines to assist the poorest of the poor who urgently need transformative relief.
GIFT is constantly innovating. GIFT researches, develops and provides access to high-impact development resources. For example, GIFT is working to harness supercomputing for advancing the cultivation of orange-fleshed sweet potatoes and leaves. Through this process, we enable both bottom-up societal impacts and interdisciplinary, cross-sector collaborations to make a big impact.
