This book was written while the author, Tim Maurer, was a Nazarene Licensed Minister, after he had been using the artwork to support his preaching at a nearby homeless Shelter. Tim handed out the Scripture art during his preaching, and the men actually traded their art cards like baseball cards. That was so inspiring and led to the thought of making compiling this Scripture coffee table book. The book has since received an Imprimatur from the Catholic Church, was covered on Catholic TV and called "beautifully rendered" by a Cardinal who personally encouraged its publication.
Tim shares his favorite Scripture verses which:
- Comforted him through the death of his twin brother who died from a heat stroke as an Army 2nd Lieutenant, at age 22)
- Encouraged him in working with refugees and orphans
- Euipped him as a Bible-study leader and Licensed Minister
- Encourages him in his faith walk, now as a Catholic
- Guided him as a businessman who's led research, strategy, innovation, marketing, partnerships and sales and even presented strategies to the White House National Economic Council
- Inspired him to launch the Global Institute For Transformation (GIFT) cross-denominational ministry to help people build faith fervency and transform hearts, lives and communities with the love of Chris
- Offered guidance in his role as a husband and dad.
